Snaps easily
The stick made it 2.5 games of beginner rec broomball and snapped in half. Avoid this stick and get something better.

Not ash
The sticks seem to be decent. The handles are not ash, most likely maple.

Didn't last
Tonight, after two light-intensity, city-league, recreational games, my broomball stick snapped (5 minutes in the first half of the third time I've used it). The stick broke in the normal course of action. I was not beating on the stick, misusing it, or being over-aggressive with it. I used it completely as intended.
