D-Gel® Broomball Shoes <BR> #884 Gripper & #800 Tractor

Description

D-Gel® Gripper - Indoor Broomball Shoes
The Gripper combines comfort, durability and performance aided by a specially moulded natural rubber sole offering superior traction. The Gripper sole is VERY soft providing excellent grip right out of the box. The "down-side" is that the sole does lack long term durability. Use only on a clean ice surface to maximize sole longevity.

D-Gel® Tractor Outdoor Broomball Shoes
The Tractor offers a great fit and superior traction for snow covered ice. Tractor sole has holes in the bottom of the sole allowing snow build up to drop out improving the players ability to maintain traction.

The Red Model runs about 1/2 size larger than your tennis shoe. The Black Model runs about the same size as your tennis shoe.

  • Sole specially moulded in “NATURAL” rubber
  • Padded foam on the upper shoe, providing warmth and protection
  • Safety toe in ultra-resistant nylon
  • Maintains its “flexibility” in the coldest temperatures
  • Made in China

rubber grippers on sole falling off prematurely
I have used the d gel broom ball shoe (Tractor model) for several curling games. I'm finding that the little rubber cylindrical "grippers" are coming off after only a few curling games. The resulting "debris" on the ice is not good as it can seriously affect the path of the curling rocks. I'm not going to be able to take them on the curling ice anymore. The sturdiness of the sole is unacceptable for curling and I suppose will not be good for broom ball either.
